The purpose of Listen and Repeat lessons is to work on the student’s pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation. First, it accustoms the ear to hear how something is spoken by a Native American speaker. Then it practices the tongue to place itself in the correct positions to best approximate the words being formed. Lastly, it allows the student to hear how well they are repeating the phrase correctly.
