What are the different Levels of ESL competency?

1. A1 (Beginner):
• Competency Level: At this level, learners can understand and use basic phrases, introduce themselves, and engage in simple conversations on familiar topics.

2. A2 (Elementary):
• Competency Level: A2 learners can understand and communicate in simple, routine tasks requiring a basic level of language skills.

3. B1 (Intermediate):
• Competency Level: B1 learners can understand the main points of clear texts, express opinions, and engage in conversations on familiar topics.

4. B2 (Upper-Intermediate):
• Competency Level: B2 learners can understand complex texts, participate in discussions, and express themselves fluently and spontaneously.

5. C1 (Advanced):
• Competency Level: C1 learners can understand a wide range of demanding texts, express themselves effectively, and use language flexibly in various contexts.

6. C2 (Proficient):
• Competency Level: C2 learners have a near-native command of the language, understanding and producing complex texts, and effectively engaging in sophisticated discussions.
